Ahnna is trying to secure help for a damaged Ithicana, which places her inside another court full of polished manners and ugly motives. James, meanwhile, is both obstacle and temptation. Their books bring a sharper court-intrigue feel, with power plays, hidden agendas, and a romance built on mistrust as much as longing.

Across all six books, the appeal is the same: high stakes, strong romantic chemistry, and characters who keep finding that love and loyalty rarely point in the same direction.
