Series background & context

The Billionaire Club is a sweet romantic-comedy series set around an exclusive island resort in the Cayman Islands. It is a place where wealthy guests, celebrities, and people trying to escape their real lives can temporarily disappear. Naturally, it is also a very good place for plans to go wrong.

Each book follows a different couple, with the resort providing the shared setting. The stories can stand on their own, but the familiar location and supporting characters give the series a continuing sense of community. The setting matters because it takes characters out of their routines and puts them in close quarters.

In A Marriage of Anything But Convenience, Nara is pushed into a two-year marriage of convenience with Derek Marshall, a man who has quietly loved her for years. The story begins with a business-minded arrangement, but Nara's fashion-design dreams and Derek's nerves make the deal much more complicated than either expected.

A Case of Extreme Mistaken Identity follows Megara Jordan, the sheltered daughter of a famous actor, after she is left stranded at the resort and forced to find work. Austin Scott, a football player recovering from injury, lets her believe he is a maintenance worker. Their growing connection has to survive the lie at its center.

The later books continue that pattern of big feelings hidden inside ridiculous circumstances. There are fake relationships, childhood friends, public-image problems, family pressure, and characters who assume they know what they want until love changes the plan. The stakes are personal, but the tone stays playful.

This is a good fit for readers who like clean romance with a vacation setting and a little escapism. Begin with A Marriage of Anything But Convenience, then continue through A Case of Extreme Mistaken Identity, A Deception of Massive Proportion, and A Necessary Nudge Out of the Friend Zone.
