The Bachelor Society Duet: The Bachelors Club

by Sara Ney

2021

This collection brings together the first Bachelors Club romances, where a stay-single wager collides with neighbors, office chaos, and women the heroes cannot stop thinking about. It is a quick way into Sara Ney's sharp, funny adult rom-com world.

Series background & context

The Bachelors Club starts with a ridiculous premise, which is exactly why it works so well. A group of wealthy, bored, self-satisfied men decide to turn staying single into a competition. There are rules, prizes, and far too much confidence involved. Naturally, the real story begins when love shows up and ruins the game.

In Bastard Bachelor Society, the first crack in the plan comes from next door. Brooks is certain he can win the wager, right up until neighbor Abbott becomes impossible to ignore. Bachelor Boss keeps the same basic energy but shifts the setting into the workplace, where Phillip's determination to stay unattached does not survive sharing office space with Spencer.

These books are adult rom-coms through and through. The heroes are smug at the start, often hilariously so, but Sara Ney never lets them stay untouched by the story. The women are sharp, funny, and very good at puncturing all that male confidence. Pets, nosy relatives, awkward situations, and strong side characters all help keep the tone playful.

The bet matters, but not in a dark or high-drama way.

It is really a delivery system for banter, denial, and the slow realization that the life these men built for themselves is not nearly as impressive once genuine connection walks in. If you like contemporary romance with sharp back-and-forth, polished adult settings, and heroes who get humbled in entertaining ways, this is the Sara Ney corner to try.
