Swiss Agents Books in Order

Swiss Agents is Tricia Goyer's World War II suspense series, written with Mike Yorkey. The books follow Gabi Mueller and other Allied operatives as they work near the borders of Nazi-controlled Europe, where information, art, and human lives can all become targets.

The series opens with The Swiss Courier. In 1944, German physicist Joseph Engel discovers that he is Jewish and must flee to neutral Switzerland. Gabi, a Swiss-American working with the American intelligence service that came before the CIA, is assigned to get him safely across the border. His knowledge of the Nazi atomic project makes the mission urgent, but betrayal is a constant threat.

Chasing Mona Lisa moves to Paris as liberation approaches. Gabi and fellow agent Eric Hofstadler race to keep the Mona Lisa from being taken by retreating Nazi leaders. The mission changes, but the series keeps its mix of espionage, wartime history, romance, and narrow escapes.

The stakes are personal and international.

These books are a strong fit for readers who enjoy historical thrillers with a clear sense of time and place. Goyer and Yorkey build their plots around real wartime pressures, then focus on characters who have to act before they can be sure whom to trust.

Read The Swiss Courier first, then Chasing Mona Lisa. The second book has its own central mission, but starting with Gabi's first assignment gives the best introduction to the team and the danger that defines the series.
