Splintered Hearts Books in Order

Splintered Hearts, also tied to the Hammers MC, is one of Nicola Jane's more relationship-heavy biker worlds. The club is still there, and so is the danger that comes with it, but these books lean hard into domestic tension, emotional mess, and the ways love can get tangled up with family, pregnancy, and betrayal.

The series opens with the story now known as Cooper. Mila takes a nanny job and ends up face to face with brooding club president Cooper, which gives the first book a strong push-pull between ordinary care work and the heavy presence of MC life. From there the series moves into Kain and Tanner, keeping the same world but shifting to different couples inside it.

What links the books is not just the club. It is the sense that every romance arrives with baggage already attached. Harper goes after Kain while his past refuses to stay quiet. Brook and Tanner are dealing with a relationship that already exists, and already carries deep cracks. Even when the attraction is obvious, Nicola Jane is more interested in what comes after the spark, the bad timing, the betrayal, the hurt feelings that do not vanish just because someone finally says the right thing.

That makes Splintered Hearts a good fit for readers who want MC romance without nonstop external chaos in every chapter. There is still enough club tension to keep the stakes up, but a lot of the real drama is emotional and personal. Children, friendships, old promises, and humiliations matter just as much as enemies or threats from outside.

It is a bruised, angsty series. More about keeping a relationship together, or trying to, than about falling cleanly into one.
