Misleading Lake

Riggs' Saviour

Saving Blu
by Nicola Jane

Blu wants nothing to do with the mafia, least of all Gianna, the woman he keeps clashing with at the Kings Reapers clubhouse. But old history and rising threats force them together, and dislike starts turning into something harder to deny.
Surviving Storm
by Nicola Jane

Lottie arrives at the Kings Reapers carrying exhaustion, history, and nowhere else to go. Storm is battling demons of his own, and their romance becomes a heavy, emotional story about addiction, survival, and wanting something better.
Taming Blade
by Nicola Jane
2021
Blade has always been the Kings Reapers man who keeps things light and keeps moving. Then Tillie makes him want more than easy hookups, and suddenly the idea of settling down feels more dangerous than any club fight.
Blinded By You
by Nicola Jane
2022
In this Kings Reapers prequel, young Anna is swept into a romance that looks like a fairy tale from the outside. The trouble is that Reggie is not the gentleman he seems, and by the time she notices, she is already trapped.
Damaged
by Nicola Jane
2022
This collection brings together Blu, Blade, and Lake, three Kings Reapers men who all think they are too broken or too busy for love. Each story mixes club loyalty with romance, emotional baggage, and the hope of something steadier.

Series background & context
Kings Reapers MC is one of Nicola Jane's biggest biker worlds, and it gives a good sense of what she does best. The books revolve around a tight club family where loyalty comes first, tempers are short, and romance tends to arrive at the worst possible moment. Different members take the lead from book to book, but the club itself is the constant.
It starts with Riggs' Ruin, where President Riggs meets Anna in the middle of conflict, not courtship. From there, the series widens out to include the people around them, Cree, Chains, Blu, Blade, Lake, Storm, Raven, and others, each carrying his own damage, blind spots, and version of what protection looks like. The appeal is in that sense of continuity. One couple may be center stage, but the wider club is always watching, meddling, or cleaning up the fallout.
The setting has a gritty London edge, and Nicola Jane keeps the tone emotional rather than polished. These books are not interested in making club life look tidy. There are custody fights, abusive exes, addiction, club wars, and the constant pressure of being tied to a violent brotherhood. At the same time, there is a strong found-family thread running through the series, especially among the women who become connected to the Kings.
Another thing that gives this series shape is the crossover tension with mafia figures and other connected worlds. That broadens the stakes without losing sight of the personal dramas. One book might focus on a grumpy VP and a sunshine heroine, another on a forbidden age-gap pairing, and another on a marriage already under strain. The emotional pitch changes, but the series always comes back to love, loyalty, and whether a person can belong to the club without being consumed by it.
If you want Nicola Jane at full MC scale, this is one of the clearest places to start. The books are dramatic, possessive, and often messy in the way her readers expect. They are also very interconnected, which makes reading in order especially satisfying.
This is the clubhouse most roads lead back to.
