Series background & context

The Sins Trilogy is a darker, more suspense driven corner of Nadia Lee’s universe. It tells one long story about Anthony Blackwood, a man who remade himself into a ruthless power broker after the woman he loved was supposedly killed in a car crash.

When the first book opens, Tony is living with the belief that he failed Ivy once and paid for it with her life. Discovering her alive a decade later is a shock that rewrites his world. She has no memory of him and has been living under another name among people he considers his enemies. To pull her out could expose old crimes and ignite a war. Leaving her there is unthinkable.

The trilogy tracks Tony’s attempt to reclaim Ivy while dismantling the network that stole her past. Ivy, caught between flashes of memory and the life she thinks she knows, has to decide whether to believe the man who insists he loved her first. Every answer they uncover raises new questions about who orchestrated the crash, who has been manipulating Ivy ever since, and why.

As the books move from Sins through Secrets to Mercy, the romance and suspense tighten together. Tony’s habit of locking information down to keep Ivy safe starts to look a lot like betrayal from her point of view. Ivy’s determination to think and choose for herself puts her directly in the crosshairs of people who view her as a pawn.

Along the way there are glimpses of other familiar figures from Nadia Lee’s billionaire world, but the tone here is distinct. Expect morally gray decisions, high body counts and a hero who is both fiercely devoted and sometimes terrifying. The Sins Trilogy works best read straight through, as one big story about trauma, obsession, forgiveness and the lengths two people will go to in order to finally get a life together.
