Series background & context

The Pryce Family series follows a powerful, complicated dynasty whose fortunes are tied up in global business empires and even more tangled personal histories. If you like big families with long memories, secret grudges and the occasional meddling parent, this is the backbone of Nadia Lee’s billionaire world.

Each core book focuses on a different Pryce sibling or cousin. Mark Pryce, the charming restaurateur who pretends nothing touches him, ropes Hilary Rosenberg into being his fake girlfriend to fend off his matchmaking mother. Iain Pryce, a former mixed martial artist turned billionaire investor, takes in a young woman on the run from a dangerous conman and slowly learns how to let someone breach his carefully controlled life.

Vanessa Pryce knows better than to depend on love, yet she keeps returning to Justin Sterling, her longtime no strings partner. When an unplanned pregnancy forces their secret relationship into the open, both of them have to reckon with how much damage their parents’ marriages did to their ideas about commitment.

Shane Pryce’s story brings amnesia into the mix, with a hero who does not remember the woman everyone insists is his fiancée. Ginger Maxwell, the photographer who once thought she knew their future, has to decide whether helping him rebuild his life is worth reopening old wounds. Dane Pryce, the eldest son trying to hold everyone together, collides with Sophia Reed, a former one night stand who reappears as his father’s intended bride, dragging buried scandals into the light.

A holiday novella later in the series gathers the entire clan for a Christmas Eve wedding, tying up loose threads and letting readers see how far the parents have come in repairing their own fractured relationship. Throughout, there are crossings with the Reed branch of the family and with other series, so familiar faces often pop up in the background of new stories.

The tone of The Pryce Family is heartfelt and high drama rather than fluffy. Expect intense arguments, grand gestures, lingering childhood hurt and heroes who have to unlearn the idea that throwing money at a problem is enough. You can technically read the books as standalones, but following them in order makes the evolving family dynamics much more satisfying.
