Shuri: A Black Panther Novel Books in Order

Nic Stone's Shuri books take one of Marvel's smartest young heroes and drop her into brisk, middle-grade adventures that balance science, royalty, family pressure, and plain old danger. It is Shuri's ongoing effort to prove herself in a nation that expects a lot from her, while still sometimes treating her like the little sister in the room. Her relationship with T'Challa matters. So does her bond with her mother, Queen Ramonda, and with friends who challenge her, support her, and occasionally tell her when she is being stubborn. Stone gives Shuri tech-heavy problems to solve, but she also gives her emotional ones.

She can build almost anything, but she still has to grow.

The tone stays accessible and fast, with mysteries, missions, and just enough humor to keep things moving. These books work well for readers who like superhero stories but also want school pressure, family friction, and friendship woven into the action. Read them in order for the strongest sense of Shuri's growth, but each book has its own central problem and payoff. Expect a smart hero, a vivid setting, and adventures that remember being clever is only part of being brave.
