Series background & context
Shadowmist Pack is a darker paranormal wolf-shifter romance series. It follows a pack shaped by hierarchy, old wounds, dangerous traditions, and a growing struggle over who gets to define its future.
The books use fated-mate bonds, pack politics, protective heroes, and fierce heroines, but the central relationships still depend on choice. A magical or instinctive connection may bring two people together. Trust has to be built after that.
In this world, a bond can be both a promise and a problem.
Feral Fates introduces Kitara Silverbrook, a seer born unable to shift in a culture that measures worth through wolf strength. When a brutal mating ritual begins, she must run to avoid being claimed by the wrong person, even as a dangerous bond pulls her toward the pack’s feared Alpha.
Savage Bonds continues the larger story with Lithia, the pack’s first female Beta. Her fated connection creates both personal and political pressure, forcing her to protect the authority she has fought to earn while confronting a past she cannot simply outrun.
This series is best read in order because the pack’s conflicts continue from book to book. Expect explicit romance, violence, trauma-recovery elements, territorial politics, and a much grittier atmosphere than the author’s contemporary small-town work.
