Series background & context

Saint View Prison takes the city’s violence behind bars, following a heroine who will walk into maximum security to clear the name of the man she loves. Mae finds her sister’s body covered in blood and watches the police immediately pin the crime on Heath, the ex boyfriend she has secretly pined for for years. Convinced of his innocence, she takes a job teaching inside Saint View Prison so she can investigate from the inside.

She does not go in alone for long. Heath is trapped on the wrong side of the bars, growing harder by the day but still maddeningly protective. Rowe, the gruff head guard who would rather she left, ends up being the one who steadies her when the prison turns ugly. Liam, her old high school nemesis turned hotshot defense lawyer, gets dragged back into her life as the only attorney she trusts enough to help. The three men clash, circle, and eventually become the central tangle of Mae’s heart.

In Locked Up Liars, Mae adjusts to prison life, dodges hostile inmates, and follows threads of evidence the police ignored. Tension with Heath, sparring with Rowe, and barbed banter with Liam lay the groundwork for a full reverse harem relationship as the investigation starts to expose rot that runs far beyond one murder case.

Solitary Sinners opens on a full scale prison riot. The real killer takes Mae hostage while fires rage, new prisoners arrive, and alliances are tested. Heath fights just to stay alive behind locked doors, Rowe is surrounded by armed men who would happily see a guard dead, and Liam works the outside angles, pulling every legal and illegal string he can find. The book deepens the emotional connections, including male male attraction, while raising the stakes on the mystery.

By Fatal Felons, a guilty verdict and a trip to death row force the group to consider the unthinkable. Appeals are gone. Time is running out. The only option left may be to break Heath out and live as fugitives, a choice that would change all four of their lives forever. Thorpe keeps the focus on loyalty, sacrifice, and what justice really looks like when the system fails you.

Like the rest of the Saint View universe, this trilogy is dark, steamy, and full of twists. It features graphic violence, complex discussions of the prison system, and a heroine who refuses to stop digging even when everyone tells her to drop it. Readers who start here will meet many faces who later reappear in Psychos, Rebels, and beyond, making Saint View Prison an early cornerstone of the larger world.
