Series background & context

Saint View Psychos drops readers into the seedy bars, back alleys, and underground clubs of Saint View, following a heroine who trades wealth for danger. Bliss grows up in a world of money and private security, but when her brother is shot in front of her, she walks away from privilege to run his dive bar, Psychos, determined to hunt down the killer herself.

The bar quickly brings three men into her orbit. Nash, her brother’s older best friend, once pulled her out of a bad situation and still carries a protective streak a mile wide. War is the heir to a motorcycle club throne, brutal when he has to be, but driven by his own need to track down the man who attacked his mother. Vincent is the quiet new hire who keeps his head down, hides unsettling darkness behind shy smiles, and might understand her grief better than anyone.

Over the trilogy they wrestle with an ever widening conspiracy. Start a War sees Bliss learning to run Psychos while the four of them dig into Axel’s murder and the city’s criminal networks. In Half the Battle, a deadly confrontation leaves Bliss with no choice but to invite out Scythe, the violent personality locked inside Vincent’s mind, forcing her to balance survival against the risk of unleashing a true psychopath. It Ends With Violence brings raids, kidnappings, and betrayals as old enemies resurface and the little empire Bliss has built faces total collapse.

Romantically, Saint View Psychos is a reverse harem story, so Bliss never has to pick between Nash, War, and Vincent or Scythe. The books explore jealousy, trust, and the slow work of building a relationship between four deeply damaged people who are all used to handling their problems with fists, knives, and bad decisions. There is also male male tension and a sex club thread running through the plot, which ties this trilogy tightly into the rest of the Saint View world.

The tone is unapologetically dark, with murder, gang violence, and trauma sitting alongside sharp banter, found family, and very high heat. Characters from Saint View High and Saint View Prison drift in and out of the story, and Rebel from the next trilogy steps onto the stage here, so many readers like to pick this series up third in the Saint View order. However you approach it, Psychos is where the city’s underbelly feels most alive, messy, and addictive.
