Ordinary people recruited by benevolent beings gain extraordinary powers and enter an ancient conflict over Earth's future. Traveling through Scotland to open a dimensional portal on Iona, they face hostile forces while learning to control their new abilities.

Two years after the Iona portal opens, rival alien races continue their struggle over Earth. As the Archons prepare a conquest that could trigger nuclear destruction, three empowered humans undertake a mission into an enemy dimension to stop them.

Earth faces destruction as the Synaxis confronts its greatest challenge. To save the planet, its members must journey beyond familiar reality, descend into the earth, and rebuild Stonehenge, bringing their long struggle against hostile forces to a decisive stage.
