Regret Duet Books in Order

The Regret Duet is a two-book romantic suspense story centered on Hadley and Caven Hunt. Written with Regret begins their story, and Written with You continues it from Caven's side. These are not separate standalones. The two books tell one larger, deeply connected story and should be read in order.

Hadley first meets Caven as a child, when he saves her from abuse. That act leaves a lasting mark on both of them, though it does not give either one a simple life. Written with You widens the view by giving Caven's past and his role as a father more space. A bullet changed his life when he was fifteen, and he has spent years trying to build enough power and distance to keep old pain from reaching him. Finding a newborn on his doorstep changes his plans again. When Hadley returns four years later, Caven is determined to protect his daughter, even if that means fighting the woman he has never fully forgotten.

The suspense elements come from the characters' histories and the danger still surrounding them, but the emotional stakes are just as important. Both books show how trauma can shape a person's choices long after the immediate crisis is over.
