Prescott College Books in Order

Prescott College is a contemporary college-romance series by J.A. Rock and Lisa Henry. The books take place around a Pennsylvania campus where fraternity life, rivalry, homesickness, classes, and awkward self-discovery all collide. The tone is funny and affectionate, but the characters are also dealing with real baggage.

The first book, Mark Cooper Versus America, follows Mark Cooper, an Australian student who is deeply unhappy about leaving home for college in the United States. At Prescott, he is pushed toward joining a fraternity even though he sees Greek life as strange, elitist, and full of rules he has no interest in following.

Then he meets Deacon Holt.

Deacon belongs to a rival fraternity and has plenty on his own plate, including pressure at home and a mother whose obsessive-compulsive disorder affects the whole family. Mark and Deacon begin a secret relationship while a feud between their fraternity houses gets worse. Their attraction is easy. Making space for trust, vulnerability, and a future is harder.

Brandon Mills versus the V-Card shifts the focus to Brandon, a shy Prescott sophomore trying to put a troubled past behind him. When he accidentally drenches freshman Alex Kekoa with orange soda, Alex develops a crush. Alex is smart, earnest, and very open about his goal of losing his virginity. Brandon is much less certain that he can handle closeness at all.

The second book gives them an academic competition, fraternity-house friendships, and plenty of awkward chemistry. It is a gentler, slower story about consent, patience, and two young men whose expectations about sex and romance do not match at first.

Across the series, college is not just scenery. It is a place where the characters are trying on adulthood while still carrying family history, fear, and insecurity with them. The supporting cast returns often, so the books have the feeling of a messy, loyal friend group.
