Series background & context

This series is built exactly the way the title promises. The couples are mismatched on paper, geeky heroines and very different heroes, and the fun comes from watching attraction show up where common sense says it should not.

The books are not as town-centered as Sapphire Falls or the bayou series. Instead, they lean into character contrast, unusual meet-cutes, and strong romantic chemistry. Completely Yours opens with an EMT and a gamer-designer thrown together in a disaster, and the rest of the series keeps that same mix of humor, heart, and modern-romance energy. If you like contemporary romance with nerdy touches, strong heroines, and heroes who have to learn not to over-manage everything, this is a good Nicholas series to try. It feels a little more standalone than some of her other worlds, which can make it an easy entry point if you want the author voice without committing to a huge town ensemble.
