The Nico Di Angelo Adventures follow two fan-favorite side characters into the spotlight: Nico, a son of Hades who has spent years feeling like an outsider at camp, and Will Solace, the sunny healer son of Apollo who loves him. Co-written with Mark Oshiro, the series picks up after The Trials of Apollo and explores what happens when these two boys are finally allowed to chase their own quests instead of standing in Percy’s shadow.

In The Sun and the Star, Nico is haunted by a promise he made in Tartarus and convinces Will to accompany him back into the deepest part of the Underworld to rescue their friend Bob, the Titan Iapetus.
