This series is romantic suspense with a glossy surface and a dark core. The tone is moody, secretive, and sensual. Pamfiloff keeps asking what Stephanie is willing to risk for the truth, and what happens when the man who might have the answers is also the man she cannot stop wanting. If you like hidden identities, dangerous luxury, and slow reveals, this trilogy is built for that mood.
