Minecraft Stonesword Saga Books in Order

The Minecraft Stonesword Saga takes the chapter book side of Nick Eliopulos's Minecraft fiction and pushes it into a bigger continuing story. These books are still brisk and kid-friendly, but they are not just one-off adventures. There is a running problem from the start, and each installment adds another piece to it.

The basic setup is that a group of young Minecraft players have to deal with the fallout after the Evoker King is turned to stone. That does not solve anything. Instead, pieces of his code splinter off into new threats, turning into dangerous bosses and strange new problems across the Minecraft world. Morgan, Harper, Po, Jodi, Theo, and the rest of the group have to keep moving deeper into danger while trying to understand what is really happening.

Each book shifts the spotlight a bit.

That is one of the series' strengths. Rather than feeling like the same quest repeated six times, the story lets different kids take the lead depending on the challenge. Theo brings coding skills into the mix. Po deals with pressure and leadership in school as well as in game. Jodi's love of animals becomes central when the quest involves rare mobs and unruly pets. Harper gets pulled into a mystery involving disappearing bees and a hive mind. Morgan has to face what leadership looks like when the team can no longer rely on working side by side.

The Minecraft setting is used well here because it is more than wallpaper. Underground webs, witches, bees, golems, Nether obstacle courses, and the growing rift in the sky all feel tied to the logic of the game. At the same time, the books keep one foot in real life. School elections, responsibilities at home, and regular kid worries mirror what is happening in Minecraft, which helps the characters feel like people instead of just avatars.

The tone is fast, funny, and full of cliffhanger energy, but there is a genuine larger arc carrying everything forward. By the last books, the danger has become much bigger than a single boss battle. The Overworld itself is in trouble, and saving it means confronting the question of whether the Evoker King is only an enemy, or also someone who can still be saved.

This series works best in order. The cast relationships, the mystery around the splintered code, and the final escalating threat all build from book to book. For younger readers who want official Minecraft adventures with a stronger continuing storyline, The Stonesword Saga is a very good place to settle in.
