Series background & context

This series takes workplace romance and turns the dial up. The books center on offices, coworkers, bosses, clients, and employees, but Rose keeps the mood light by pairing those settings with larger-than-life heroes and women who are more than capable of pushing back.

There is a good mix of setups here. A billionaire needs help saving his company. A former detective and a coworker collide after a bar encounter. A Russian office giant falls fast. A former SEAL comes back ready to protect the woman he has loved for years. Because the books share a work-centered frame, they feel connected even when each couple has its own mess to sort through.

The workplace matters because it keeps the characters close. People keep running into each other, crossing lines, or trying not to make trouble while being fully incapable of staying away. That makes the books feel intimate and slightly chaotic in a fun way.

If you like office romance with fast chemistry, protective heroes, and a sweeter rom-com tone than pure corporate angst, Love on the Clock delivers exactly that.
