The case combines coastal conservation concerns with a murder investigation.

In Dead Men Tell No Tales, a suspicious hunting accident turns out to be murder. Lindsey and Ike follow clues through a case where the victim and suspects are not what they first appear to be. The novella format keeps the action focused, but it leaves space for the couple's growing trust and for the practical challenges of keeping a small newspaper alive.
