Khamsin Books in Order

The Khamsin books show a different Bonnie Vanak than the one many readers meet through werewolves and SEALs. This series leans into historical romance and adventure, with Egypt at the heart of the setting and a strong taste for archaeology, desert legend, treasure hunts, and divided identities.

The books begin with The Falcon & the Dove and continue through The Tiger & the Tomb, The Cobra & the Concubine, The Panther & the Pyramid, The Sword & the Sheath, The Scorpion & the Seducer, and The Lady & the Libertine. Some stories move through Egypt, some through England, and several do both. That back-and-forth matters, because a lot of the tension comes from characters caught between cultures, loyalties, and expectations.

The setting is not just wallpaper.

Vanak uses digs, tombs, tribal loyalties, old family lines, and buried treasure as real parts of the plot. A heroine may arrive hoping to prove herself, only to find herself caught in prophecy or political danger. If you like desert settings, sweeping historical romance, and a blend of sensuality with old secrets and action, Khamsin is probably the Bonnie Vanak series to try first. It is less modern, less paranormal in the werewolf sense, and much more interested in legends, lineage, and the romance of finding yourself somewhere far from where you began.
