Kallypso Masters is a Kentucky romance author who turned a long-held writing dream into a full-time job in May 2011, after leaving her day job the month before. Her debut novel, Masters at Arms, followed in August 2011, and the world she built around it quickly grew into the connected, character-heavy books she is best known for today.

She writes the kind of stories she likes to read. That usually means strong feelings, dominant heroes more often than not, capable women, and happy endings that feel earned instead of handed out.

Her best-known work is the Rescue Me Saga, a contemporary romance series centered on veterans, survivors, and a growing family of choice linked to the Masters at Arms Club. She has also taken a different path with the Bluegrass Spirits books.
