1

Iker the Unseen

by Orlando A Sanchez

2021

Iker takes a Dark Council job involving an old vampire clan and finds himself marked for death instead. To stay alive, he has to discover who authorized the kill order and remove them first.

2

Daystrider

by Orlando A Sanchez

2023

Iker moves into another layered assignment where timing, stealth, and clean violence all matter. In his line of work, daylight rarely makes anything safer.

3

Nightwalker

by Orlando A Sanchez

2023

Night jobs turn even bloodier for Iker as enemies close in and the politics around his work get messier. Quiet solutions are still the goal, but they are getting harder to find.

Series background & context

Iker is one of the cleaner high-concept leads in Sanchez's catalog. He is an expert in conflict resolution, which is a very polite way of saying he handles ugly problems for dangerous people. The opening book makes that clear fast. A council call, a vampire clan problem, and then a kill order with his name on it.

That setup gives the series a fixer-thriller feel. Iker is not a detective wandering toward a mystery. He is already inside the machinery of power, and when that machinery turns on him, he has to move fast, hit hard, and figure out who signed the order.

That makes him fun to follow.

The books seem built around professional competence, controlled violence, and the politics of hidden supernatural networks. Day and night matter. So do information, timing, and knowing which problem to solve permanently.

Readers who like stylish operators, underworld negotiations, and protagonists who survive by staying several moves ahead should find this series appealing. It keeps the magical setting, but the rhythm is closer to a hard fixer story than a traditional quest.
