Hellhound Chronicles opens with a great problem for an urban fantasy hero: Ava has been dead to her old life for a century and working as a hellhound ever since. She is also completely trapped, which is what gives the series its bite.

The stakes are big, but the books keep them personal by tying every disaster back to Ava's unfinished business.

What you should expect is dark fantasy with a punk streak. These stories are bloody, foulmouthed, and driven by revenge, but they also care about guilt, memory, and whether a person who has done terrible things can still choose differently.
