Series background & context
The Hell on Earth series returns to the world first opened in The Road to Hell, after a gateway to Hell tore open and reshaped Earth. Years have passed, the original war has ended, and human survivors known as Wilders share a broken landscape with demons.
Wren has spent fourteen years surviving in the Wilds, the lawless regions outside the fortified cities. When the chance comes to help build something better for other Wilders, she has to work alongside the demons she once saw only as enemies. Corson, a deadly demon warrior, joins the same effort, thrilled by the chance to hunt escaped creatures and less thrilled by how much Wren gets under his skin.
Hell on Earth throws them together as reluctant partners while they track monsters that slipped through the gateway. Their banter filled clashes slowly turn into something deeper, even as new threats rise and old wounds from the first war reopen.
In Into the Abyss, the focus shifts to Amalia, a jinn who spent her life sealed away from the world, and the demons who fear and misunderstand her kind. A trap set in the Abyss ensnares many of the palitons loyal to Kobal, forcing Amalia to choose between the jinn and the allies she has begun to care about.
Kiss of Death follows Aisling, who volunteers to work at the wall guarding humanity, only to discover she carries demon blood. Her unwanted bond with Hawk drags her into the Wilds, where angels, horsemen, and a deadly living maze turn survival into a brutal puzzle.
The final book, The Edge of the Darkness, brings Bale and Wrath together in a jagged enemies to lovers story. Bale has been haunted by mysterious dreams of the darkness since childhood. Wrath is the mate she never wanted, a powerful demon whose very existence seems tied to the shadows she fears.
Across the series you can expect heavy demon lore, brutal fights, and romances that grow out of shared battles rather than easy meet cutes. It is closely tied to The Road to Hell but focuses on new couples and fresh corners of the same apocalyptic world.
