Haunted Hearts Legacy is Howard's gothic paranormal romance series, built around love stories that are tangled up with ghosts, old houses, and family secrets. Julian is focused on engineering plans and the family's resort, until an ocean-liner journey, a mute child, and a haunting pull them into danger together.

The Glass Butterfly widens the family story again. Felicity Lonsdale has built a false life on an isolated Irish estate while raising her nieces and hiding from her past. Nick Thornton arrives carrying guilt of his own, drawn by rumors of transparent butterflies connected to the afterlife. Their bargain gives both of them a reason to look at ghosts they would rather leave alone.

The series has a historical-gothic feel: secluded estates, secret identities, graveyards, flowers, music, letters, inventions, and spirits that will not rest. The supernatural pieces are not just decoration. They force the characters to say what they have buried, and to decide whether love can survive guilt, disability, class pressure, scandal, and grief.
