One of the fun things about Ghost Unit is how it carries forward the emotional history of the earlier Enotia books without requiring every romance to feel identical. These heroes still have military training, fierce loyalty, and a tendency to go all in once they care. But the jobs are harsher, the choices are murkier, and the cost of failure feels steeper.
