Author bio
E.M. Snow is an American author who writes high tension New Adult and Young Adult romance, most often set in elite schools where money, secrets, and desire collide. She is best known for dark high school bully romances that blend intense slow burn heat with big emotional swings. Her stories lean dark, with bullying, obsession, and complicated power dynamics built into the love story.
She first reached readers in 2020 with Saint, book one of the Angelview Academy trilogy, and quickly followed it with Malice and Eden. Together those three novels form a nearly thousand page saga that helped define her voice and introduced many of the characters who now anchor her larger fictional world.
In Angelview, scholarship student Mallory Ellis lands at a glossy California boarding school hoping for a clean slate, only to collide with Saint Angelle, the cruel golden boy everyone else treats like a god. Snow uses their enemies to lovers arc to explore class divides, found family, trauma, and the thin line between revenge and desire.
After finishing Mallory and Saint's story in Eden, Snow shifted the camera a little to create the Thornwood Prep books. That series follows Phoenix Townsend, a ruthless heir readers first met at Angelview, and the girl whose brother stole from his powerful family, binding her to Phoenix in a dangerous three month bargain.
Because the two series share characters and spoilers, many readers like to start with all three Angelview books, then move into the Thornwood Prep titles where Phoenix steps into center stage and the Townsends take over the board. Read that way, her universe feels less like separate trilogies and more like one long, twisting story about privilege, survival, and what happens when the wrong people are handed all the power.
Across that universe she gravitates toward morally gray characters, intense chemistry, and plots that move fast. Prep school hierarchies, secret family histories, and whispered rumors in the hallways all feed into the tension. Her fondness for reality TV, sour gummy candy, and moody bad boys shows up in the heightened drama, surprise reveals, and the way even the worst behaved characters can still be strangely hard to quit.
Her books are unflinching about bullying, trauma, and emotional damage, and they are written for a mature audience, with explicit romance threaded through questions about consent and agency. Structurally she favors trilogies, spin offs, and big cliffhangers, using the pause between books to let side characters and subplots grow until they are ready for the spotlight.
Off the page, Snow lives in the United States with her husband and children. She often jokes that her family is pretty great, except when they leave their laundry everywhere, and that she is still figuring out what she wants to be when she grows up.
That mix of sharp edges, humor, and heart is a big part of why readers keep coming back to Angelview Academy, Thornwood Prep, and whatever corner of her dark, addictive universe she decides to explore next.
