Dog Town is set in Dorset Hills, a small community that prides itself on being the most dog friendly place in North America. In this series, romance, mystery and canine chaos collide, but no one ever dies. The stakes are reputations, relationships and the fate of beloved pets.

Each book focuses on a different couple whose lives are upended by Dog Town’s rescue culture and strict pet policies. A Match Made in Dog Town follows Bridget Linsmore, the woman behind the town’s Thanksgiving rescue pageant. Her work matching shelter dogs with perfect humans is threatened by sabotage at her new facility and by an infuriating but charming neighbor who might be behind the trouble, or might be exactly who she needs on her side.

Holiday stories are a big part of the series. Bold and Blue in Dog Town gives a canine corrections officer and a billionaire dog owner a shared project that might fix their dogs and their hearts while they uncover a puppy theft ring.

Despite the individual arcs, the feel of Dog Town is consistent. There is a loose band of rescuers nicknamed the Rescue Mafia, a mayor whose pet policies often go too far, and a steady stream of dogs who push humans into the right (or wrong) arms.
