Series background & context
This series takes every cozy holiday image and gives it a much steamier spin. Christmas lists, letters to Santa, office parties, costumes, movie sets, and snow-season wish fulfillment all show up here, but the books are not aiming for Hallmark sweetness alone. They are festive, yes, but also knowingly naughty.
The heroines are a big part of the appeal. They are curvy, funny, and usually a little overwhelmed by the men in front of them. The heroes, meanwhile, lean into bossy, obsessed, and not especially subtle. Holiday magic is less about miracles from nowhere and more about finally getting the person each character cannot stop thinking about.
Because the books are novellas, the pacing stays quick. That suits the series. A Christmas romance can afford to be bold when the whole point is emotional payoff, seasonal charm, and a happy ending wrapped fast.
If you want short holiday romances with heat, humor, and a lot more dirt than the title of a classic carol would suggest, Dirty Little Christmas is exactly that.
