Cory in the House takes the family comedy energy of That's So Raven and drops it into one of the oddest settings a Disney sitcom ever used, the White House.

When Cory Baxter moves to Washington, D.C. with his father Victor, who has been hired as the President's chef, everyday kid schemes suddenly collide with security rules, state dinners, and the pressure of living in a very public place. Cory is ambitious, excitable, and always ready with a plan, which is exactly why things go sideways so often.

The series works because it keeps the politics light and the comedy personal. Cory is not trying to run the country. He is trying to impress people, dodge trouble, help friends, and come out ahead in the latest hustle. Friends like Newt and Meena add different kinds of chaos, and Victor brings the parental reality check.
