Series background & context

Chosen Vampire Slayer begins with a private investigator who is supposed to deal with monsters, not fall for them. The heroine's work puts her in contact with supernatural danger every day, but a vampire, a fallen angel, and a demon complicate the line between the creatures she hunts and the allies she may need.

The job gets personal fast.

Night Kissed opens the series with a paranormal investigation and a heroine forced to work alongside three men who are as deadly as they are tempting. She is trained to be suspicious of monsters, and they give her plenty of reasons to be. Yet the threats around them make cooperation necessary, even when trust feels like the most dangerous choice available.

Moon Kissed and Blood Kissed continue the story through a world of vampires, demons, angels, shifters, and supernatural enemies. The ongoing tension comes from both the larger danger and the heroine's changing relationships with the men at her side. They are protectors, complications, and possible partners, but they also carry their own secrets and loyalties.

The series blends detective-style problems with action-heavy paranormal romance. It is built around a capable heroine, a hidden supernatural world, and why-choose dynamics rather than a single central love interest. The mood is fast, steamy, and full of uneasy alliances.

Slaying is easier than trusting.

Start with Night Kissed and continue in order. The first book establishes the heroine's work, the three men who disrupt it, and the supernatural rules that shape the rest of the series.
