Series background & context

Kings of Eden is a dark paranormal romance series about a woman pulled from a hard life into a world of criminal power and destructive magic. Its heroine has learned how to survive powerful men, but escaping one threat only puts her in the path of three others, Dracon, Cassius, and Knox.

They call themselves the Kings of Eden.

In Kings of Eden, the heroine narrowly escapes a dangerous encounter while working as a dancer. Then she learns that the men watching from the shadows want something from her, something important enough to make her their captive. Their world is shaped by gang conflict, magic, and violence, and the power inside her responds to its chaos in ways she cannot easily ignore.

Stolen Paradise, Ruthless Lies, and Edge of Chaos continue the story as the stakes around the Kings and the heroine rise. The books build on questions of trust, hidden power, and whether a connection formed under coercion can become something more complicated. The romance is why-choose and intense, but the ongoing magical conflict remains a major part of the plot.

This is a dark series. The criminal setting, captivity themes, and dangerous heroes are part of its central premise, not a brief obstacle before a softer story. The heroine's struggle to keep hold of herself gives the books their emotional core.

Paradise has teeth.

Start with Kings of Eden and read straight through. The relationships, criminal magic, and larger conflict are designed as one continuing arc rather than separate standalone romances.
