Cactus Creek is Violet Duke's warm, funny small-town romance series. In Love, Exes, and Ohs, Isaac McKnight and Xoey Montenegro are former partners who have managed to remain best friends, though neither has really moved on. A confession forces them to consider whether friendship is protecting them or keeping them from the relationship they still want.

The series is light on cliffhangers and big on community. The characters carry real wounds, including betrayal, grief, injury, and fear of being left, but the mood remains hopeful. Expect teasing conversations, meddling locals, shared history, and romantic conflicts rooted in what each couple has survived before arriving in Cactus Creek.
