Series background & context

This is one of the clearest crossover spaces in the Posey Parks world. Instead of following one brand-new couple from the beginning, Assassins & Mob Wives pulls together established characters and lets you spend time inside the marriages, friendships, and tensions that come after the earlier love stories. That makes the books feel a little like a reunion, but not a calm one.

These people do not know how to travel quietly.

The appeal here is the group dynamic. Wives who love dangerous men are often treated as side characters in romance, but this series gives them room to matter together. They support one another, compare notes, worry about their children, and step into danger when they have to. The men may be assassins and mafia bosses, but the women are not decorative. They are part of the protection system too.

Travel is a recurring spark in these books. Road trips, flights, retreats, and supposedly relaxing getaways create a natural way to throw multiple couples together and let old issues flare up. That means the books can balance marriage drama, female friendship, action scenes, and updates on the larger world without feeling like one long epilogue.

If you already enjoy the crossover side of Posey Parks, this is where the broader cast really gets to breathe. Expect mayhem, possessive husbands, capable wives, and the sense that no trip is ever just a trip once this group gets involved.
