Series background & context
All Saints High drops you back into the wealthy, toxic world of Todos Santos, only this time the focus is on the next generation. The kids of the original Sinners of Saint crew rule the halls of an elite California prep school, and they have inherited both the privilege and the damage their parents never quite shook off.
Each book in the series follows a different couple as they try to survive All Saints High, first crushes, and families who come with their own legends. You do not need to have every detail of the earlier books memorized to enjoy it, but if you have read Vicious, Ruckus, Scandalous, or Bane, you will recognize parents, side characters, and old grudges still echoing in the background.
Pretty Reckless centers on Daria Followhill, the perfect rich girl who knows exactly how much of her status is built on lies, and Penn Scully, the boy from the wrong side of town whose life she helped break years earlier. When he turns up as her foster brother and classmate, their enemies to lovers story plays out in crowded hallways, cheer practices, and a home where everyone is pretending not to be watching.
In Broken Knight, childhood neighbors Luna Rexroth and Knight Cole grow from kids sharing a tree house into young adults trying, and often failing, to cope with grief, addiction, and the pressure of always being the golden ones. Their story leans hard into friendship, found family, and the question of whether love is enough when people are not ready to save themselves.
Angry God pushes the tone even darker. Vaughn Spencer, the artist son of two original Sinners, is angry, brilliant, and determined to burn the world down before it hurts him again. Lenora Astalis has her own scars and refuses to be his victim. Their connection takes them from California to a brooding English castle and into a web of secrets that reaches back to childhood.
Across the series you can expect high school drama dialed up to eleven, messy parties, sports, school politics, and a lot of broken parenting. Underneath the gossip and the pranks, though, the books are really about kids trying to figure out who they are when the people who raised them still have not fully healed.
If you enjoy bully romance, second chances, and stories where the friend group feels like a saga all by itself, All Saints High is a good place to live for a while. The books are interconnected standalones, so you can dip in for one couple or read the whole arc and watch each family slowly come full circle.
