Series background & context

Virgins and Villains makes its pitch right in the name. These stories pair innocence, or at least relative innocence, with men who are meant to read as morally gray, obsessive, feared, or openly dangerous.

The books are dark without becoming sprawling. Each one takes a different villain-flavored hero and asks what happens when he does not want destruction or power nearly as much as he wants one specific woman. It is a strong fit for readers who like devotion in rough packaging.
