Series background & context

Conklin County Daddies shifts the action into a more grounded small-town setting, but it still keeps Lena Little's usual heat and urgency. The men here feel rooted in place, bounty hunters, ranchers, trusted friends, even a priest, and the setting gives the romances a more connected local feel.

The county matters because danger does not come from nowhere. Bad bosses, old trouble, family history, and town gossip all push against the central pair. Underneath that, these are still protective, possessive romances with a strong Daddy flavor and standalone plots.
