Series background & context

Two Marks is Vanessa Vale's paranormal why-choose series about wolf shifters whose bloodline mates in pairs. That rule changes everything. In this world, one woman is not choosing between two men. The bond itself is built that way.

The series starts with the prequel Untamed, then continues through Tempted, Desired, and Enticed. These books mix pack rules, secrecy, fated-mate pull, and the practical problem of what happens when humans get too close to something they were never meant to see.

Compared with Wolf Ranch, Two Marks leans more directly into the two-male bond structure and the idea of a pack system that has been shaping these relationships for generations. The romances move quickly, but the paranormal framework gives them a different feel from Vale's straight cowboy series.

If you want shifters, pack politics, and a strong fated-mate premise, start with Untamed and read in order.
