Throne Hunters Books in Order

Throne Hunters is one of Tucker's newer progression fantasy series, and it comes out swinging. Harald Darrowdelve starts as the kind of character who has wasted what he was given. He is weak, directionless, and carrying the burden of a family name that means more than he does. Then he enters the dungeon beneath Flutic, a place tied to the spiritual corpse of a fallen angel, and everything begins to change.

That dungeon is the engine of the series. It is not just a place to grind levels. It is a source of power, class change, corruption, and revelation. Harald gains a dark blessing that finally gives him a way forward, but every new gain drags him deeper into a city full of noble politics, rival factions, hidden agendas, and a larger celestial conflict simmering beneath the surface. The books understand that leveling up is fun, but only if the world pressing back is equally dangerous.

Harald's rise is the hook.

He goes from laughingstock to threat, and Tucker gets a lot of mileage out of that shift. By the second book, Harald is no longer someone powerful people can ignore. Great Houses want to control him, study him, recruit him, or kill him. At the same time, he is trying to build something of his own, not just more strength, but a crew, a charter, and a sense that he does not have to become another pawn inside the city's old games.

The tone is dark, fast, and strongly progression-driven. Deeper delves bring stranger enemies, better powers, and nastier consequences. As the series moves through later books, artifacts like the Twilight Crown and the politics of Flutic push the story from survival toward open bids for power. That gives the series a satisfying double rhythm, dungeon advancement on one side, urban and noble maneuvering on the other.

Tucker also keeps a moral question humming in the background. Harald is being remade by what he touches. The books keep asking whether he can use darkness without becoming owned by it, and whether personal ascent can be separated from the damage it causes around him.
