The Triton Chronicles takes the Chronicles World below the surface, where underwater royalty, bird shifters, demons, and questions of succession collide. It is paranormal romance with a royal rivalry at its center.
The first book, Wreck, follows Cade Daly, a bird shifter who rules the supernatural West Coast. A summons from the Triton King offers him a startling new role in an underwater kingdom. Marigold Tidal has spent years preparing to become queen, so Cade's arrival feels less like help and more like an insult.
Neither of them expected the attraction.
Their sharp back-and-forth sits alongside real political trouble. In later books, including Wait, Cade and Marigold face revelations about power, identity, and forces that reach into the supernatural world around them. The series works best in order because the romance and the fight for the Triton throne grow together from book to book.
