The Afterglow Trilogy is a young adult fantasy romance that takes place before the events of the connected Forged books. It follows Charlotte after a move back to South Carolina leads her through an old garden gate and into a hidden world.
In Beckoning Light, Charlotte expects the hard part of returning to Charleston to be a new high school and people from her past. Instead, she meets Calvin and discovers abilities she never knew she had. Her brother Kevin tries to protect her, but the rescue she needs depends on choices only Charlotte can make.

Perilous Light and Enduring Light continue Charlotte's story as she learns more about the magical world, her own powers, and the people connected to it.
