Series background & context

The Summerhaven Trio follows the Irish-American Haven triplets, Rory, Tierney, and Ian, along with their cousin Fin. They grew up at Summerhaven, an exclusive New Hampshire camp where their family worked while wealthy children came for the summer.

That upbringing gives the series its central tension. The Havens were always close enough to the guests to see their world, but never fully part of it. Years later, class differences, old crushes, and family history still shape how the siblings see themselves and what they think they deserve.

Fighting Irish begins with Rory Haven and Brittany Manion, a former camp guest who returns to Summerhaven while planning her wedding. Smiling Irish follows Tierney and Burr, while Loving Irish turns to Ian and Hallie. Each sibling gets a separate romance, but the triplet bond keeps the books closely linked.

Caughting Irish is a bonus novella about their cousin Fin and Tate. It returns readers to the family and offers one last visit to the setting that connects them all.

Summerhaven itself is more than scenery. The camp's off-season quiet, its memories of childhood summers, and its social rules all add pressure to relationships that might have seemed impossible when the characters were younger.

Read in order for the strongest family arc. Expect class differences, childhood crushes, second chances, Irish family warmth, and romances with a strong sense of place.
