The Sixth Faction Books in Order

The Sixth Faction is Veronica Roth's return to the world of Divergent, but it is not a straight sequel to the original trilogy. It is an alternate-universe version of the story, built around a different path for Beatrice Prior. The familiar pressure point is still there: five factions, five possible futures, one choice that is supposed to define a life.

This time, the question is not only what Tris chooses. It is what changes when she does not step into the same version of the story readers already know.

The series is planned as a duology, with The Sixth Faction #2 continuing the arc. Because it is an alternate universe, new readers can approach it as its own doorway into Roth's dystopian Chicago. Returning readers will likely catch more echoes, reversals, and character parallels.
