Love Me Like This

by Bella Andre

2018

Justin Morrison has spent years trying to forget Taylor Cardenes, the one woman he has always loved from afar. When they reunite at her Napa Valley bed-and-breakfast, long-suppressed feelings surface fast, along with a secret that could change everything.

Series background & context

The Morrisons sits a little differently from Bella Andre's Sullivan books. This is a newer-adult contemporary romance series, so the emotional stakes feel closer to first real adulthood: college, music careers, big dreams, grief, self-doubt, and the overwhelming intensity of wanting love to work when life is still taking shape.

That makes the books a little more raw.

The Morrison siblings move through worlds that are exciting but unstable, from college campuses to concert tours to wine-country getaways, and the romances carry that same energy. Feelings come on hard. Attraction is immediate. But there is also uncertainty, because these characters are still becoming themselves. They do not always know what the future looks like yet, which gives the series a different pulse from Bella Andre's older, more settled adult couples.

Even so, the family feeling is still there. The Morrisons look out for one another, tease one another, and create the same kind of emotional safety net that readers of Andre's other series tend to enjoy. If you like romance that balances sexy scenes with genuine vulnerability, this series does that well.

It is also a nice bridge for readers who want something a bit younger without losing Bella Andre's signature warmth. Start with Kiss Me Like This, then move on to Tempt Me Like This and Love Me Like This to watch the family dynamic build.
