The Immoral trilogy is Marissa Farrar pushing all the way into taboo, survival, and high-pressure why choose romance. The premise is immediate and deliberately uncomfortable. Laney loses her mother, discovers the family she barely knew still exists, and is thrown together with a stepfather and stepbrothers who are strangers in every way that matters.
