The Circuit Books in Order

The Circuit is Rhett C. Bruno's space-opera trilogy about a human civilization that has outlived an uninhabitable Earth. People now live across a network of colonies, stations, moons, and asteroid settlements. That network, known as the Circuit, depends on trade, scarce resources, and a political balance that is far less stable than it looks.

The New Earth Tribunal holds enormous power. It mixes government, religion, and military control while claiming to preserve humanity's future. Against it are groups with their own interests, including Ceresian clans and people who have little reason to trust the system.

Everything is connected, until it starts coming apart.

Executor Rising begins when ships belonging to the Tribunal vanish. Sage Volus, an Executor and spy, is sent undercover to follow the trail. Her target is Talon Rayne, a Ceresian mercenary who has his own reasons for staying alive and asking questions. The job places Sage inside a growing conspiracy and tests the beliefs that have shaped her life.

The series follows several points of view rather than one single hero. Sage, Talon, former Tribune Cassius Vale, and the android ADIM each see a different side of the Circuit. That approach lets the books explore class, faith, loyalty, family, and technology without treating any faction as uncomplicatedly right.

Earth itself remains important even though people cannot simply return to it. A rare resource called gravitum, found beneath its ruined surface, helps hold the system together. Control of that resource becomes part of the wider struggle, and the consequences reach every colony.

Progeny of Vale continues the story as the political conflict turns toward war. The characters deal with betrayals, old losses, and difficult alliances while the future of the Circuit becomes less certain. Earthfall brings the trilogy's central conflict to a head, with the major players forced to face the world they may leave behind.

The tone is large-scale space opera with espionage and political tension at its core. There are mercenaries, stolen ships, fragile alliances, android questions, religious authority, and fights that matter because ordinary people depend on the system's survival.
