Gerick becomes one of the emotional anchors of the quartet. His story carries questions of inheritance, identity, and whether someone marked by darkness can choose a different path. By Daughter of Ancients, the series has moved forward in time, and Gerick is the one pulling at the knots of ancient history, old curses, and unfinished business.
