Series background & context

The Bosshole series is a set of contemporary romances about people who have built very controlled lives, then meet someone who makes control feel like a losing battle. The books feature wealthy CEOs, political figures, producers, and other high-powered men, paired with women who have their own goals and are not eager to be treated as part of anybody else's plan.

It begins with Million Dollar Fake. A journalist who has been using false identities to get into exclusive events is caught by billionaire CEO Asher Davis. Asher needs a wife for a business deal, and the arrangement gives them both something to gain. It also leaves them living inside a lie that becomes harder to separate from real feelings.

The rules start falling apart quickly.

The President's Assistant shifts the action to a presidential campaign, where Harper takes a job working for candidate Reid Prentice. Politics, ambition, and a difficult professional relationship give their attraction plenty of reasons to stay hidden. In Loving The Enemy, a woman discovers that the unforgettable man from her one-night stand is Andre, her new boss, which makes starting a job far more complicated than expected.

The series keeps its familiar mix of workplace tension, enemies-to-lovers friction, and unexpected pregnancy. Grumpalicious follows singer Genevieve Green and billionaire music producer Cayden "Cash" Coltrane. Cash needs to repair his public image, while Genni wants a real shot at a recording career. Their agreement puts them in the spotlight together, even as they struggle to decide what is performance and what is personal.

The final books widen the settings without losing the central push and pull. In True Fake Love, a woman becomes involved with the distant billionaire CEO Ryan after what was meant to be one night. Our Little Secret follows Maria and Armond Castle, whose connection takes them from a chance reunion to a difficult conversation about pregnancy, marriage, and a life split between different worlds.

These are high-heat romances with big emotional setups and fast-moving complications. The men may arrive with money, status, or a carefully guarded reputation, but the stories work because the women challenge their assumptions. Each book introduces a different central couple and situation, so readers can sample a favorite trope or begin at the start with Million Dollar Fake for the clearest route through the series.
